TMR’s training manuals have been compiled from the information gained by the authors over almost fifty years combined experience working with optical practices throughout the UK and overseas. Both publications highlight the key factors that make a difference and distinguish a successful practice from an average one.

The Retail Optical Training Programme (ROTP) is ideal for both new staff and also as a useful primer for optical support staff joining a practice for the first time. It is equally invaluable as a training guide for practice managers wishing to improve the levels of care and service for patients.

The Optical Management Development Programme (OMDP) has been written for practice owners and/or managers who wish to develop their management skills. This has been shown to increase staff morale, improve team working. Ultimately, this will lead to better business results.
