Optical Assistant / Receptionist - Two
Support staff wishing to gain practical dispensing skills
This practical course is designed especially for those wanting to gain confidence and technical knowledge dispensing spectacles. Delegates will leave the course with the ability to dispense simple prescriptions. Including the measurement of PD's, they will also learn how to select appropriate frame styles which will be flattering to a patient's facial features. As well as carry out adjustments and minor repairs more confidently. Delegates are expected to have some prior knowledge of optical anomalies and understand spectacle prescriptions.
